To determine how many rolls of wallpaper to order, measure the square footage (length x height) of each area around the room. For example, measure the length of all the tall walls, rounding up to the next even foot, and add all these together. Add the squar footage for headers over the doors, soffits, over and under the windows, etc. until you have the total square footage for the entire room. Windows smaller than 3'x 5' should be ignored; treat them as plain wall. Divide the total square footage for the room by 23, the amount of sq. feet in each single roll. Note that there are actually 28 sq. feet in each single roll, but because of trimming, matching the pattern, etc. you get only 23 USABLE sq. feet in each single roll. Round up to the next even roll (since wallpaper is packaged in DOUBLE rolls.) For example, if your total square footage is 292 sq. ft., divide by 23 to get 12+ single rolls so round up to 14 single rolls.
